Department Overview
The Human Resources function aims to ensure that the firm continues to attract, retain and develop the best people in our industry. In order to achieve this goal the department is structured into two components: Centres of Excellence (CoE), which are staffed with professionals who have expertise in their particular area (e.g. Resourcing, Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations) and Client Relationship Teams (CRTs) who are focused on service provision to specific business units.
Specifically, CoE teams are:
* Subject matter experts to provide CRTs with specialised advice, documentation, tools, policies and guidelines;
* Owners of processes that need to be centrally and consistently coordinated and executed;
* Monitors of CRTs to ensure adherence to key processes.
Main Function
To provide Resourcing Partners with:-
* a set of policies and guidelines for delivering recruitment services to their clients
* direction and support in dealings with recruitment suppliers
* a robust eRecruitment system that meets business requirements
* an on-boarding service for all permanent new joiners
To provide HR leadership and senior business management with:-
* transactional ownership and delivery of specific confidential hires
* strong vendor management across all suppliers and business areas
* ownership of RecCo weekly cycle and use of Ecomp system
* advice on various resourcing issues
To own the relationship with and be the escalation point for RPO onsite team.
To be the Resourcing point of contact with other key teams such as Sourcing, Compliance, Legal, Corporate Communications, and other Resourcing leads.
Main Duties
* Ownership of all recruiting policies and processes and recruiting brand globally to ensure consistent delivery and messaging
o Help firm drive generic strategy and tactical direction of recruiting
o Ownership of Resourcing intranet pages and all policy docs and process manuals
o Recruiting reporting and MIS as required
* Vendor management
o Ownership of supplier documentation (terms and engagement letters, templates and original documents)
o Ownership of Preferred Supplier List reviews and outcomes, and supplier relationships
o Resolution of supplier issues (candidate ownership, fee disputes etc)
o Drive opportunities for delivering cost savings on supplier spend
o Termination of unwanted suppliers
* Liaison with other teams such as Legal, Sourcing, Corporate Communications, Compliance and so on, to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and leverage their expertise to support the Resourcing agenda.
* Ownership of the recruitment portal:
o BAU stability and functionality, relationship with vendor, Super User and support framework
o Work with eRec Super Users to prioritise and fund required development work
o Work with eRec Super Users to deliver required communications around eRec enhancements and periodic upgrades
o Work with eRec Super Users to develop BW reporting requirements - design, testing and BAU deployment
o Authorisation of new user set-up, and training of new users
* Oversight of on-boarding function
o Day to day management of all onboarding processes and policies
o Management of changes to offers (wording, withdrawals, changes to terms and conditions)
o Ensure adherence to group screening policy - including ownership of allowing exceptions through and escalating to Head of HR when appropriate
o Manage relationship with screening vendor and handle performance issues
* Personal ownership and management of confidential hires for Head of HR
* Ownership of Ecomp system and relationship with designated IT resource for emergency support and enhancements
o Authorisation of new user set-up, and training of new users
o Registering of proxy votes for voting ExCo members
o Communication around changes in RecCo/Ecomp procedures
* Oversight of Resource Solutions globally
o Day to Day oversight of team covering temps and contractors in UK
o Escalation point for transactional decisions and performance issues
o Periodic review of SLAs and compliance to these
* Periodic review of the RPO market and alternatives (e.g. alternative supplier implementation in Czech Republic - specification and negotiation of contract in conjunction with Legal)
* Liaison with resourcing leads, contribution to the firm-wide Virtual CoE in order to share experiences and knowledge and agree collective approach to shared issues without compromising solutions to the firm's specific requirements.
* Review and approval of all UK recruitment invoices.
* Ad hoc projects as required.
Person Requirements
Qualifications:
Required: Graduate
Experience required:
Essential: In-depth hands-on and strategic resourcing experience. Financial Services industry experience.
Preferred: Investment Banking Front Office exposure.
Skills and knowledge:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong Excel and Power point skills
Preferred
* Ownership and application of an ASP solution to a diverse global client base
* Previous IB Front Office experience
* Oversight of an RPO function
* Oversight of an on-boarding function (especially pre-employment screening procedures)
