Head of Reward

Our client is looking for an experienced and credible reward professional to join their organisation, initially for a twelve month period, to manage their Reward function and provide support to the HR Director in successfully delivering and implementing reward and benefit practices and principles into the business.

Key responsibilities will include:-

• Monthly board reporting of KPI’s
• Analysis and trend spotting
• Enhancing and building upon existing reward programmes and rollout including salary structures, bonuses, incentive programmes, job grading, pension/saving plans, health and welfare, international mobility, expat services and broader recognition initiatives
• Contributing to the development of Director reward and incentive structures
• Building competency and capability of the HR team so that they can effectively promote, communicate and implement consistently the reward offering to people
• Communicating reward offerings effectively out to the business
• Developing and implementing global reward strategy to meet current and future needs
• Leading effective salary review process
• Managing and advising on highly complex and diverse reward packages
• Communicating and interpreting company policies and procedures
• Input into salary surveys and performing competitor analysis
• Participating in making changes to global reward practises
• Evaluating and monitoring reward programmes for competitiveness and cost effectiveness
• Researching into new and emerging reward programmes
• Maintaining an external network of reward specialists to benchmark best practices and current developments

Ideal experience

• Strong background in compensation and benefits/reward
• Experience of managing complex/different types of reward packages
• Exposure to different markets and territories in relation to reward
• Good knowledge and management of expat packages
• Experience of other areas of HR
• Exposure to pay reviews, PRP, job evaluation, pensions etc
• Track record of successful project management and implementation of significant changes to compensation and benefits policies achieving management buy-in
• Experience of re-formatting and working with management information and delivering key KPIs
