HR Consultant - £35,000 + package – Slough, Berkshire

Are you an experienced and commercially aware HR generalist? Do you possess good communication skills and an ability to influence? Are you looking for the next step in your HR career within an exciting and growing company?

This is a new position and a true generalist role giving fantastic scope to make a mark through HR within an SME healthcare organisation that has doubled in size over the last year and plan to do the same over the coming year. This role will report directly into the HR Director and will provide a high quality, operational HR service to the organisation. With the projected growth plans, this really is an exciting opportunity to join this company relatively early in its development and make your own mark on the way HR is run throughout the company.

Job Role

•HR Advice – Providing an advisory service on employment issues to managers within the company, keeping abreast of employment law, developing policy and ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery
•Organisational Development – Influencing managers to raise team performance, project work on best practise, advising on management structures
•Communications – Effectively engaging employees, developing and maintaining the intranet, developing external relationships with key partners
•Training & Development – Identifying training needs, developing and implementing initiatives for managers and staff

In order to be successful in your application, experience in the healthcare industry would be advantageous as would membership of CIPD. You need to have a demonstrable track record in an HR generalist post, be an excellent communicator, be an enthusiastic and pro-active HR person and possess the energy and ideas needed to drive the function and grow HR in line with the business.
