HR Consultant - City - £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits (Ref 206156)

A exciting and fast paced opportunity has arisen within a highly respected and well recognised FTSE 100 Financial Services business.

With a strong brand and presence across Europe, this highly successful business employ thousands of people across the UK and are looking to utilise years of industry experience to drive the business forward into 2009. The HR consultancy division is a small but vital division which support a large network of customers across all business levels including Group Directors & CEO's. With a slant on Learning & development the successful candidate will be responsible for their own projects while providing comprehensive cover to customers and other internal divisions.

This position is an outstanding opportunity for a talented and ambitious candidate looking for the capacity to develop in a leadership role as a key member of the business. This opportunity will include:-

-Deliver Agreed HR services and activities in line with Group Policy
-Work with internal customers to define and prioritise their HR need and service these requirements in line with HR Strategy
-Develop HR Solutions to meet with customer requirements and effectively implement change
-As required, lead and/or contribute to the roll-out of HR projects and initiatives through research, project work and, where appropriate the delivery of new or improved services ensuring individual contribution or delivery of project to plan, time, budget and agreed requirements
-Contribute to the management of relations with external service providers through the provision of information, monitoring of performance and routine liaison as required
-As required, provide support to the International HR Director and HR teams in the International Businesses

You will ideally be CIPD Qualified or close to completing your studies with previous experience in either an HR consultant, HR Generalist or L&D specialist role. Exposure to the Financial services market place or a large multi-site organisation is essential.
