This leading, global US-listed IT business process outsourcing organisation is seeking a strong generalist and business partner to lead a team of two to support a client group of around 1600 people in all areas of HR.

Currently the HR function is fairly reactionary, but the Senior HR Manager (who the role reports to) is looking to change this into an HR Business Partner led function. They are seeking someone with the capability to lead this more strategic focus, but who is also happy to work on the more transactional pieces of HR. Experience and understanding of supporting a technology function within a blue-chip business or experience within an information technology services business is essential.

Key responsibilities:
•Build effective relationships with internal clients and proactive support and coaching around people management
•Ensure the organisation is compliant and best Practice HR is understood and implemented by managers
•Identify and anticipate and implications that will affect people within the business and implement solutions accordingly
•Work on HR related project around people planning, performance and development
•Liaise with the other areas of HR and ensure effective relationships are built

Skills:
•Degree qualified or the equivalent HR Professional Qualification
•Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a transient client group in technology
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Strong understanding of UK employment law and legislation
