Temporary (Maternity Cover)

A Financial Services company based in the Docklands are looking for a HR Manager to join them on a temporary basis.
The HR Manager will assist with Generalist coverage of the Fixed Income Division, part of the Sales and Trading HR function, with specific responsibility for the Administrative and Analyst population.
Responsibilities include:
Working with managers to set appropriate compensation levels for new offers
Administering the internal approvals process and working with administrator on offer paperwork generation
Deal with all issues interpreting policies and procedures
Advise and coach managers in order to resolve all situations
Ensure active management of all performance issues
Work with managers to ensure positive employee relations and adherence to firm diversity and equal opportunities policy
Ensure consistency of approach and compliance with current legislation
Facilitate appropriate training for line managers
Monitor the process of evaluation ensuring timely and effective communications
Monitor and track delinquencies
Assist in job matching and input for external salary surveys in conjunction with the compensation team
Advise managers on compensation levels for all employees from the hiring stage onwards.
Ensure general understanding by managers and staff of firm's compensation philosophy and practices.
Manage year-end compensation & promotion review for Analyst & Non Exempt population, including chairing round table discussions, promotion book material production
Manage and co-ordinate process of transferring employees into and out of European branches
Liaise with International Services team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of transfer packages
Communicate with senior managers to facilitate effective planning and costs of transfers

The HR Manager will have extensive HR experience within a corporate blue chip environment, preferably be CIPD qualified, and be able to build good professional relationships with a variety of demanding client groups.
