Our client is an internet company that created a digital operating environment to make the web most efficient. Founded in the mid '90s in Massachusetts, the company today has a global presence serving over 2,000 multinationals and renowned retail organisations. This S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 company with nearly 1,500 employees is now looking for their HR Manager, Southern Europe responsible for strategic business partnering and HR operations for their subsidiaries in France, Italy and Spain.

This position brings local requirements/cultural perspectives to the corporate processes and programs to ensure appropriate global coverage. Reporting to the Global VP of HR, it is also responsible for the implementation of all HR processes and programs across the countries. These include all compensation planning and implementation, localizing and optimizing benefits, HRIS, performance management, recruiting and on boarding, career planning and development. The incumbent is also a consultant to the International management team in areas of organisation design, workforce planning, team development, change management, leadership development and proactive employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of HR experience across multiple countries and with leadership responsibility remote from HQ. 5+ years experience working in a high-tech company with multiple country responsibilities, including some experience with a U.S. based company would be an advantage. You will have successfully built and implemented HR plans with business leaders and aligning local needs with company-wide programs and processes. Hands on experience in driving compensation and benefits as well as recruiting across multiple countries is a must. Fluency in French and English (and maybe one more, i.e. Spanish or Italian) would be desired.
You will show strong leadership and relationship skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural organization. Excellent communication, consulting, influencing and presentation skills are a prerequisite. An undergraduate degree is required, an advanced degree in a related field preferred.
