The Company:
We are seeking a professionally astute and experienced Human Resources Manager, based in The City, for a highly successful commercial software organisation.

The Role:
As the Human Resources Manager you will play an integral role in a very vibrant business function and working cross functionally with in organisation. This is a stand alone position and where you will be responsible for all generalist HR issues from advice on retention and recruitment to training and advising on staff incentives. Experience within a blue chip organisation and a SME approach are highly desirable.

Main areas of responsibility include:

• Maintain Company Handbook, policies, contracts, etc.
• Advise and support managers handling redundancy, disciplinary, performance and other HR-related situations
• Work with lawyers on non-standard issues as appropriate
• Absence Management
• Provide day-to-day advice and guidance on all HR-related matters
• Manage agency relationships
• Operate controls in line with headcount plan/budget
• Conduct initial screening of candidates
• Generate offer letters / contracts
• Carry out reference / right to work checks
• Manage induction activities
• Ensure compliance with Employment Legislation
• Implement monthly payroll changes
• Manage the annual salary review process
• Manage Variable Compensation Plans and payments
• Work with Pensions/Benefits scheme providers
• Source / manage external training providers
• Deliver internal training on HR related processes/systems
• Support competency-based assessments and development programmes
• Conduct Exit interviews with all voluntary leavers
• Recommend policies / programmes to reduce attrition and be an employer of choice





Skills Required:
To become the Human Resources Manager you will:

• Be able to demonstrate a very high level of similar generalist management experience in a previous role, preferably having studied towards your CIPD qualifications
• Have a proven track record in dealing with staff at all levels across a business
• Have excellent communication and relationship building skills

Remuneration:
Our client is offering an excellent remuneration package, including a negotiable salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
