A Japanese Bank based in the City are looking for a HR Service Centre Administrator to join them on a temporary basis.
The HR Service Centre acts as the hub of the HR function, ensuring that key internal clients are fully supported in all aspects of employee life cycle events and providing an initial point of access into HR for all UK employees.

Job description

The role is essentially twofold:

·To provide HR administrative support to cover all employee lifecycle events.
·To provide a HR Helpline for all UK employees. A general knowledge of HR policy and procedures is required along with strong interpersonal skills as the team interacts with clients across the firm at all levels. Communication can be via telephone, email or face to face.

Specific Responsibility for:
·Administering the HR processes for all employee lifecycle activities including joiners, leavers, transfers, maternity and leaves of absence.
·Providing day to day support for the HR Helpline to include query resolution and/or escalation as required
·Supporting Day One Induction programme
·Responding to Reference requests
·Providing HR administrative support at disciplinary/grievance/capability meetings
·Maintaining and updating departmental process manuals
·Supporting year end compensation process
·Ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HR products and associated administration, specifically employee lifecycle events, the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels, internal and external to HR.
