Are you an Industrial Relations specialist with expert, in-depth knowledge of working in a unionised environment? If you have experience of working closely either in a Union or with unions - negotiating, advising, working consultatively as an industrial relations advisor, then this is the job for you.
My client is an international financial services organisation going through a huge amount of positive change and transition. They require an Industrial Relations Consultant to join their Employee Relations team in London.
You will be a pivotal part of the team which ensures that any issues within the organisation that affect employees are managed and communicated positively during this time of transition. You will advise managers and key stake holders on anything that touches on employee relations, which means that could be partnering with different parts of the business on issues as varied as restructuring, policy development, pay negotiations, trade union relationship management, upskilling managers, business planning and strategy.
Central to this role is the need to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new union officials as the organisation goes through M&A activity. You will help structure the ER strategy for the business, manage industrial relations in a climate of change and build relationships with third parties, partner with and coach HR business partners and be subject matter expert for any employee relations issue.
This demanding role requires an Industrial Relations specialist with past proven Industrial Relations experience either in the public or private sector. You must have worked in a unionised organisation, in a ER/IR specialist position, be able to communicate and negotiate with union officials and be able to build positive and constructive relationships, both internally and with third parties. You must also have exceptional written communication and presentation skills to succeed in this role.
Please note: Only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered for this role. Please send your CV through in the first instance to register your interest.
