Interim HR Officer - Up to £28,000 pro rata – West London - MJS/2204/HRO
The Company:
Our client, a leading retailer, is looking for an Interim HR Officer to come on board for a period of 6 months to act as a maternity cover. As the Interim HR Officer you will play an integral role within its dynamic team and provide a first class service across all areas of HR.
The Role:
As the Interim HR Officer you will play an integral role in a very busy and vibrant business function. Main areas of responsibility include:
• Provide a professional service to all employees and offer advice and guidance on all HR issues to managers
• Prepare all documentation and correspondence for new, current and ex employees
• Operate and monitor absence self certificates, company sick pay and sick/maternity pay schemes
• Involvement in Recruitment process including, advertising vacancies internally and externally, inviting candidates to attend interviews, making job offers and sending out offer letters and checking references
• Council staff as appropriate regarding internal promotions, disciplinary and grievance issues and matters relating to terms of employment
• Advise line managers on all matters regarding terms of employment including dismissal
• Carry out exit interviews and report to management when required
• Assist the Head of HR in all aspects of Employee Relations
Skills Required:
To become the Interim HR Officer you will:
• Preferably have 2 years experience working in a retail environment
• Be able to give advice to all levels of employees
• Preferably be CIPD Qualified.
Remuneration:
Our client is offering an excellent remuneration package, including a negotiable salary up to £28,000.
