A London based employer seeks a HR Advisor / HR Officer to support a busy and large workforce. This is an excellent organisation with which to build your career and gain experience in a wide range of areas which will be both challenging and varied. This is a meaty role, with a lot to get your teeth stuck into!

As the HR Advisor / HR Officer – Key Responsibilities:

• Advise managers on policies and procedures, employment legislation and terms and conditions
• Guide and assist managers on the development and implementation of staff recruitment and retention strategies
• Advise and assist within employee relations, attendance / sickness, absence, maternity, performance management
• Assist managers in the process of change and advise on HR implications
• Manage recruitment and selection
• Work with the rest of the HR team in the delivery of HR services
• Assisting in the creation of procedures, policies and practices
• To assist in the delivery of HR initiatives

HR Advisor / HR Officer - Skills / Experience required:

• In-depth experience of managing discipline and grievance cases including complex cases
• Policy Research and Development
• Excellent Employment Law knowledge and be able to apply it your organisation
