A fantastic opportunity exists within the investment banking arm of one of the world's largest financial services institutions for a Development Specialist to increase their knowledge and experience of L&D, supporting several of the most high profile areas of the business. The role will provide exposure to all aspects of the learning cycle as well as a broad range of development, career management and OD products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a consultative service to the business and the HR community, identifying and advising on the most appropriate development interventions.
- Vendor management.
- Ensure analysis/evaluation of courses.
- Understanding of the overall training budget and implications to ensure optimal use of resources and investment.
- Monitor industry best practice to ensure that the organisation maintains a competitive advantage.
- Continually assess existing procedures, processes and products and suggest enhancements or new ideas.
- Support, advise and facilitate bespoke L&D interventions.
- Deliver training for central products and services (induction, appraisal skills training)
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that candidates have significant knowledge and experience within the L&D arena, preferably within investment banking however my client may also consider the wider Financial Services or Global blue chip organisations.
