Learning & Development Project Manager
Salary: £30 - £40k
Location: Uxbridge based with some travel to UK sites

This is an outstanding opportunity for a rising talent from an L&D or Training background to take responsibility for a brand new learning project with a market leader in security provision.

Reliance Security Group is one of the biggest names in the provision of manpower and electronic security solutions. Also covering facilities management and business process outsourcing, we employ over 13,000 people from a network of offices throughout the United Kingdom. The Reliance culture is one of continuous improvement and innovation, and you can have a dramatic influence on how we grow as a company.

This brand new role will see you as the architect of a programme that will deliver government funded training to our teams across the business. Initially piloted to 7,000 employees in Reliance Security Limited, we aim to roll the scheme out to the other Reliance Group operating companies upon successful completion of the pilot. Therefore it’s imperative that the project launch is strong and successful.

The scheme will offer tailored training across the company – from Security and Sales; to Marketing and Management, and work in collaboration with our performance management process, talent strategy and training agenda. Your expertise in these areas will be essential as you work with project sponsors to ensure consistency and effectiveness between the processes to deliver performance growth and professional expertise.

The L&D department is a small, close-knit team of Trainers and Training Consultants spread across the UK and you’ll become a vital part of that team. However, responsibility for this exciting new project will be yours and yours alone, so you can expect total autonomy in your decision-making. Your work will help drive improvements in the performance management process, and the overall workforce as a whole - ultimately ensuring we get the very best out of our training capabilities.

Ideally coming from a Learning Skills Council background or L&D Training function with a comparable organisation, you should have been involved in delivering this type of programme. Full cycle project management experience is essential, and you’ll need to have an agile take on internal communication as this is a complex, albeit welcoming, environment. This position demands a big personality, as you will influence senior stakeholders around the business and demonstrate that these training programmes will be of huge benefit. In this highly visible role, your enthusiasm and communications strategy can make a big difference.
