Office Manager/HR Specialist - Oxford up to £25,000 - Ref 6055

We have just registered a unique opportunity working for a highly successful publisher, based in their Oxford office.

Our client is looking for an experienced Office Manager and HR Specialist with the ability to handle multiple projects, to not only be the main point of contact for all HR issues but to also support senior staff in ensuring the success of the business.

Your HR responsibilities will include assisting employees with various issues such as payroll, training and development, employee relations, staff council, safety issues, employee rewards and recognition, employee grievances and issues, and facilitating employee meetings and events. You will also be responsible for coordinating the company staffing and recruiting programme.

On the Office Management side of the role you will be supporting senior staff by managing calendars, handling and processing office supplies and expenses, making travel arrangements, fielding telephone calls, emails, and incoming mail and correspondence; coordinating, communicating, implementing, and managing tasks and projects as requested; acting as recording secretary at meetings, and taking responsibility for fleet management and car lease policy.

To be successful you should be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant HR or business subject with generalist HR experience. You will be a self starter with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is strong proficiency in MS Office.
