My client is one of the lucky manufacturing companies who are going through a period of growth and have recently acquired a competitor. As the headcount has increased and the work load has followed suit, the business decision is that another experienced HR professional is needed to help with the delivery of the HR service and support the organisation through this change period. Reporting into the HR Manager, the Part-Time HR Advisor role (25 hours) will actively support the operation by providing an effective and professional HR service covering the full generalist remit. An outline of the role is as follows;
• Provide and be responsible for a high standard of advice, guidance and support to managers covering the whole range of HR issues, including employee relations, organisational change and employment law.
• Ensure that organisational / legislative requirements are met and standards of best practice are maintained.
• Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements.
• Implement local HR strategy in order to support the HR UK / Ireland Regional Strategy.
• Ensure HR Planning Processes are applied in area(s) of control.
• Ensure ‘good’ employee relations are maintained across all sites.
• Ensure all employees are treated fairly and consistently in terms of resourcing, relations, reward etc.
You will be available to start at quite short notice and would have ideally worked in a manufacturing environment.
Please note: Only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered for this role. Please send your CV through in the first instance to register your interest.
