Project Manager – Retail operations CT/2154 PT

My client is one of the leading Retail Groups in the UK with further operations globally. With a history of year on year growth and continued impressive expansion plans this organisation goes from strength to strength. In support of this hugely complex organisation the operational development team works on a range of ground breaking initiatives that deliver improved service to customers, simpler internal structures and processes and more cost effective business operations.

To join their expanding team we are looking for bright, capable individuals, ideally from a consulting background, who are keen to utilise their strategic and operational capabilities in a major blue-chip firm. The primary responsibility of the role is to deliver parts of a significant transformation programme to roll out a new operations operating model to the business. This will involve developing deployment and project plans and overseeing the delivery of these through resources in the business.

We are keen to hear from candidates with the following skills:

• Previous management consulting or internal consulting experience
• Worked as part of large-scale transformation and change programmes
• Excellent project planning capabilities
• Experience of project delivery and governance methods
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
• have experience of analyzing processes and re-designing these (BPR)
• ideally experience in supply chain or other operational business environments
