This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly formed Investment Business in Abu Dhabi. The business is the planned Sovereign Wealth Fund for the entire United Arab Emirates. It was formed in November 2007 and held its first board of directors meeting on March 24, 2008. The HR team is being in the process of set up. Eventually, there will be a team of about 6 and they are currently looking for a Recruitment Officer. The role will involve full life cycle recruitment from drafting job descriptions, liaising with agencies, managing the process as well as putting in place a recruitment strategy. It is a very exciting time to join as it is a newly established fund and so there is a lot of scope to get involved with both operations and strategy. It is a very hands on role although there will be not any technical interviewing - it will all be competency based.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and will be a very credible recruiter. You will work closely with the business so you must be confident liaising at a senior level.
