Rexam Beverage Can, Europe and Asia sector Head Office in Bedfordshire currently has an excellent opportunity for a Regional HR Manager to join the HR team.

The role

1. Joining the senior HR team of this sector, you will be responsible for a number of sites across the UK and Europe.
2. Your key focus will be to lead and develop the HR function at each site, managing and developing the people and processes to develop a consistent and effective HR strategy in all areas including employee relations, communications, training and development, talent management, and employee relations.
3. With a strategic focus, you will act as a business partner, identifying future strategies across your region, anticipating change and developing HR contribution.

Your profile

1. Well educated and with significant experience in the HR field, you will have excellent generalist HR knowledge, preferably gained in a multi-site role in an international organisation.
2. You will have a working knowledge of European and UK employment law, and experience of Trade Union negotiation.
3. Innovative and proactive, you will have a flexible approach to drive forward employee integration and involvement.
4. You will be an effective communicator, able to gain credibility at all levels and be able to demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation skills.
5. Fluency in a European language would be an advantage.
