My client is looking to recruit a field based HR Manager to provide HR expertise to the regional team that supports the overall business strategy.
Succession Planning & Retention
Create and implement Regional HR strategy in conjunction with Operations Director
Partner with Resourcing team to ensure regional growth strategy is achieved
Develop retention strategies and contribute to the talent management process
Act as a performance coach, facilitator, counsellor and link into the succession management process.
Conduct exit interviews, identify themes and potential solutions
Performance Management
Provide expert advice on performance management issues for the region to grow the capability of managers and teams
Provide advice and training on performance management and appraisal process and ensure timely completion of reviews
Employee Relations
Support and coach where necessary in investigation, disciplinary and grievance situations
In partnership with ER, provide consistent advice in line with legislation and Company policy.
Work closely with other HR Business partners to ensure consistency of approach
Work with managers and employees to manage sickness absence in line with policy and procedure
Manage any transfer of undertakings and ensure process is managed within legal and company timeframes. Ensure new employees are transitioned effectively into the business.
Training
Partner with L&D Manager to ensure managers and employees are equipped with the skills necessary to carry out their jobs
Partner with L&D Manager to ensure that development programmes are relevant to business and function's needs and promoted accordingly in line with succession management process
Partner with HR Manager regarding policy changes
Pay and Reward
Understand the reward issues relevant to the region
In partnership with HR team, ensure effective execution of the annual salary review process and other employee benefit programmes
Ensure national minimum wage increases have been completed in the region
Culture and Values
Ensure all activity reflects the organisation's' culture and values
Utilise company communication and consultation processes to gain feedback and make improvements to enhance employee satisfaction.
HR Strategy
Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall HR strategy
Identify and encourage Centre of Excellence teams to provide HR support to the business, develop their understanding of the function and issues
Use KPIs to identify issues that require resolution and development and partner with HR function on potential solutions
Instigate or support L&D, Resourcing, HR or Operations teams on appropriate business project e.g. payroll and contracts, competency reviews
