This is a new and exciting role to provide specialist knowledge and expertise to the group, to enable effective decision making to support the business plan.  To manage the key annual activities of bonus and pay reviews, and other Reward related project work as defined by the business.


You will be required to use a variety of methods and techniques in order to gain commercial insight on this business and others reward / people practices.  Monitor trends and evaluate alternatives to provide a recommended approach.  This includes job evaluation / benchmarking / competitor network groups, surveys, and general internal and external research.  This can be achieved through verbal comms (seeking feedback) or the interpretation of reports and legislation. This will lead to Sourcing reliable, timely and appropriate data to inform and influence the best decision making

Work with Head of Reward and direct customers to design reward strategies that support operational, legislative and financial requirements.  This includes pay structures and reviews, bonus structures and schemes, national minimum wage, incentive schemes, recognition and voluntary benefit programmes and all supporting policies. Leading to a Reward package that supports the recruitment and retention of team members at all levels throughout the organisation. Also interpreting the business agenda into meaningful reward strategies, ensuring cost reduction where appropriate or measured spend to drive performance.

 
Full management of annual activity, such as management salary review, annual bonus payments and team member pay review that complies with agreed reward principles and legislation. 
 
To progress & embed the reward agenda by creating impactful communication tools.  Using a broad range of styles in order to educate, influence and engage our direct and indirect customers
You will be Graduate level or equivalent, you will ideally  be CIPD Qualified or equivalent.
 You must have  MS advanced Excel and be able to demonstrate Commercial awareness
