The objective of this role is to provide an efficient, effective and proactive Human Resource service to managers and staff primarily to the Contact Centres and where appropriate, within the central operations.

·         Establish an effective and flexible recruitment plan/campaigns  which address the current and future demands of the contact centres that are aligned to the needs of the client/business

·         Ensure the delivery and compliance of policies and procedures, suggesting improvements to HRBP as appropriate

·         Provide assistance and support with the performance management framework (Objective setting, poor performance, development opportunities)

·         Advise and support managers on all matters relating to grievance, disciplinary and other employee-relation issues in line with statute and company policy.

·         Compilation of reporting absenteeism, turnover and other key management information as required to both internal and external clients,  providing suggestions for improvements

·         Provide support and guidance on the managing of absence, both planned and unplanned

·         Compile various management information reports on a monthly/regular basis which highlight potential risks and opportunities

·         Ensure the starter and leaver process from a business perspective to ensure they align to agreed business practices.

·         Liaise with Learning and Development, Payroll, Pay & Benefits Advisor and other internal support departments

·         Share knowledge and experience with the HR Advisors and the wider HR team and manage the team in the absence of HRBP.

·         To ensure that all employee personal data is managed legally and appropriately, and with discretion.

·         To be fully conversant with the risk assessments in line with Criminal Records Policy and Financial Probity Checking

·         Undertake job evaluation exercises as and when required

·         Assist with the delivery of induction materials/training to large groups and on a 1.2.1 basis, as and when appropriate

·         Attend various management meetings (internal and external) and contribute to discussions from a HR perspective.

Build and maintain the  preferred recruitment supplier list Manage HR Audits in the absence of HR Business Partners









·         CIPD qualified or equivalent.

·         Previous experience of working a generalist HR role

·         Strong recruitment background professional support services and (high volume) experience

·         Practical knowledge and understanding of managing Employee Relations issues (disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals, redundancies)

·         Ability to work independently when required, seeking guidance and advice from colleagues.

·         Experience of managing or supervising a team

·         Report writing

·         Ability to interact confidentially at management level

·         Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to keep up with a fast paced and often pressurised environment.

·         Strong team working skills and customer service ethic.

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Use of Microsoft Office suite and associated packages.
